Neonhunt #09 — The station remembers

Who knows a secret, whom you confide in, and how you respond to boundaries carry more weight in later encounters.

A choice becomes particularly interesting to us when it matters again later. We’ve expanded the connections between conversations, secrets, and everyday life aboard.

Information has a journey

It matters whether you discovered something yourself and whom you tell. Characters don’t automatically know everything you’ve experienced. Sensitive information also raises the question of whether you have permission to share it.

Companions can refer back to shared experiences, depending on whether they were actually present. You can explore these paths alone as well.

Trust grows through your actions

Personal boundaries and respectful disagreement have more space in the relationship paths. Attraction doesn’t automatically mean trust. Later conversations can return to how you responded at a particular moment.

Some shared decisions also appear in selected places aboard the station. MIRA can discuss certain experiences with you when you tell her about them.

We want these reactions to make sense. You should be able to remember an earlier encounter and understand why someone treats you differently now, without constantly being shown a score for your choices.
